We believe that what sets Allsop apart is the fantastic team environment that has been fostered and encouraged by the management within Allsop. We know that our company is only as good as our employees, so we place a huge emphasise on attracting and retaining the best people.

We currently have a team of 20. In 2015 Allsop relocated to Belfast Harbour Estate to offer employees a modern and flexible working space. As mentioned a fantastic team environment is very important to us and initiatives to further improve company culture and job satisfaction have been implemented. These include providing staff with daily availability to breakfast, snacks and fresh fruit, as well as a monthly ‘big’ breakfast. Quarterly social outings and activities to encourage team bonding and cross-departmental communication. Private medical insurance and an additional health care plan is made available to all employees. Employees also benefit from individual training plans and are actively encouraged to attend job or industry-specific events and conferences. A further initiative within Allsop was the introduction of quarterly profit share. This ensures that as Allsop continues to grow and thrive, employees can share in the success.  As a commitment to promoting company culture and ensuring employee wellbeing, we have even appointed a Chief Happiness Officer.

Open and honest communication is also an important part of ensuring Allsop is a wonderful place to work. Even as Allsop has grown Richard our MD has maintained an open-door policy, with employee ideas being not just listened to, but implemented. As part of this open communication, Town Hall Meetings have been introduced to communicate company performance, recognise individual or team achievements and encourage fearless feedback. Plus, we indulge in free pizza, which we always find motivates the team. ?
