Senior Front-End Developer

• You are a motivated and diligent Front-End Developer who is passionate about delivering the highest quality products to our clients.
• You will have experience of the entire software development lifecycle – through analysis, design, development, test, deployment and support.
• Working within the development team you will play a key role in the delivery of production-ready client solutions.
• A passionate technologist who will be in creating highly functional, visually pleasing and user-friendly responsive web-based applications. These will be used by Allsop’s clients in a variety of industries, across many different devices, form factors, and user segments.

What will you do?

You will have an active input in the whole process of the software development lifecycle.

You’ll be working alongside many other highly talented developers, testers and designers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for our wide varieties of client projects across several platforms, using the latest technologies such as .NET Core, Angular, Docker and Azure.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be:

• Leading the development team to build client solutions utilizing modern web technologies including Angular, Bootstrap and SASS.
• Lead and mentor technically to mid-level and junior developers.
• Having an active input in spearheading our development process.
• Helping to define and influence the future technical direction for the evolution of client solutions.
• Working with the backend/systems developers to integrate with our .NET Web API frameworks.

What will you have?

• 5+ years of commercial development experience
• Knowledge of Angular and AngularJS JavaScript frameworks
• Advanced knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS3
• Knowledge of CSS PreProcessors such as SASS and Less
• Knowledge and experience of Git source control
• Knowledge and experience of CI/CD and DevOps environments, deployment tools, and similar technologies (Azure DevOps, Docker)
• Experience of Agile Methodology

What might you have?

• Commercial experience with .NET Web API/MVC
• Knowledge of Xamarin or native iOS/Android mobile app development
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SQL and Entity Framework
• Knowledge of build tools such as Gulp and Grunt
• Knowledge and experience of web services and cloud platforms (Azure)
• Experience in leading and mentoring team members

Salary range:

£48,000+ (Dependent upon Experience)
